    All of our instructors are Professional IKO instructors, multi-lingual and we offer any level of lessons in English, Spanish, Italian, French and more. We have an unique philosophy in teaching kiteboarding, from more that 10 years of experience!!
    After 6+ years of experience in teaching kiteboarding in Tulum and around the world, we are now the first school teaching with the Short Line Methods, that helps the student to lean first the control and than the power of the kite, making the learning process safer, faster and funnier.
    Whit this methods the majority of our student are able to independently fly the kite in 6 hours.
    All of us are expert kiteboarders with over 10 years experience teaching and riding. We teach what we love!
    Our KITE SHOP is conveniently located in the entrance of the town of Tulum at the main stoplight, right on the intersection to reach the beach and our main School Location is at EL PARAISO BEACH CLUB/PLAYA ESPERANZA.

    How to get started….It takes around 6 hours to learn basic kite control, but it will depend on your ability on how fast you will start riding and it really depends on the wind how many hours you will be able to take. Our classes focus on teaching you how to control the kite, which is the most important thing to be able to start working with the board, the water re-launch, the self- rescue and general safety.

    We usually do 3 hours the first day, beginning with flying a trainer kite on the beach (If you already know how to fly it we will skip this part) and then the assembling of an inflatable 4-line kite and ending with flying the kite and practicing kite control on the beach. The next hours we suggest doing private lessons so you get one-on-one instruction and are able to advance faster. You will keep practicing kite control and start body dragging (having the kite pull you through the water without a board) until you demonstrate you are ready for the board. The time it takes to master kite control and be ready to start going on the board varies from person to person and depends on wind conditions.

    After 6 to 9 hours of instruction, the best thing is to keep practicing. If you are thinking to stay here for a long time (over 2 weeks) the best way to do it is having your own kite and of course, we have a great offer with BEST KITEBOARDING, if you buy a kite with us, we will give you a 2-HOUR FREE LESSON!!!!

    If you want to book ahead and get a 15% discount we require a 50 usd deposit or the full payment through Paypal plus the 5% fee. Please note that we do not accept credit cards in Mexico so please bring cash, sorry for any inconvenience.

    Equipment Rental with Extreme Control
    Extreme Control only rents 4 line kite equipment to experienced riders who are completely independent and who can re-launch and perform self rescues. We reserve the right to assess the rider and rent equipment based on his/her skills.We do not rent kites to people practicing bodydragging or water starts.
